This Page is dedicated to Abdul Mannan Chaudhury (aliases: Ibrahim, Chairman Shaheb), visionary social activist, labour movement and political leader, who lived in Kanihati from 1890’s till his death in May 1956 in England. He was the only son of Makbulur Rahman Chaudhury, and a grandson of Ali Gauhar Chaudhury, the legendary Zamindar of Kanihati. - Abed Chaudhury
