Birthday barbeque – Sami turns ten
Our son Sami turned ten on Saturday, 24 January
2004.
26 January is Australia Day so Sami’s
birthday fell on a long weekend.
To celebrate Sami’s birthday, we held a typical Australian
barbeque in the park (the meat of course was marinated with
Bangladeshi spices).
The weather was just right – a play of light
and shade as the sun came in and out of the clouds.
The flies had a feast and the children were thrilled by an
unexpected visit from an ice cream van.
